Christmas at Southeastern: A Joyful Celebration of the Nativity
December 4 & 6, 2008
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary’s Seminary Choir and the Northeast Piedmont Chorale will present Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in Binkley Chapel. The performance is part of “Christmas at Southeastern: A Joyful Celebration of the Nativity,” two nights of free Christmas music in the same week held in Binkley Chapel. “Festival of Lessons and Carols” will take place on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.

Preview Days at Southeastern

February 5 and April 16, 2009
Preview Days at Southeastern are unique opportunities to see firsthand what God is doing at Southeastern, to hear from our faculty and students and to fellowship with others, just like you, who are discerning a call to ministry. Sit in on classes, tour the campus, meet with President Akin and his wife during a reception at their home, ask questions and find answers.

2009 20/20 COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE: The Gospel Comes to Life
Feb. 6-7, 2009
The Gospel is relevant not only to our private devotions, but to our college classes and our future vocations. It matters not only during Sunday morning worship, but also during coffee shop conversations, movie viewings, and political conversations. Come and see how everything we do and think matters to God and how, when we discover this, the gospel really comes to life. 

Reach Up Tour

With the growing youth population in America, it is important to equip our youth with the tools to share their faith effectively. Statistics show that by the year 2010, the youth population will outnumber that of the baby boomers. This large number of youth will be leading the church by 2020. Have we provided them with tools to reach this world for Christ?

State Evangelism Conference
February 16, 2009

Southeastern is hosting the 2009 North Carolina State Evangelism Conference, "A Great Commission Resurgence," sponsored by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Speakers include Daniel Akin, Bruce Ashford, Robert Smith, Ed Stetzer, Chuck Lawless, and more. The event is free and will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
