Chapel Messages Chapel is at the heart of campus life at Southeastern. It is a time when the college and seminary comes together for corporate worship of our great God and Savior. Chapel is an important component of spiritual life and discipline. Faithful attendance builds a wise Christian habit that will honor God and strengthen your walk with Christ.
Downloads of our chapel messages are available via the web for any students that are unable to attend weekly chapel services on campus. Chapel attendance is required even for distance learning students. Messages are available here. The Chapel policy and waiver are available here.
Student E-mail All students at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary are required to activate and use their student e-mail accounts. Southeastern has gone to a "paperless campus" model, and all communication from the accounting services office (formerly the business office), the registrar, the academic offices and all professors will take place through student e-mails. You may forward your Southeastern e-mail to another e-mail account if this is more convenient for you. To create an account, check your e-mail, forward your e-mails or reset your password, please use our Webmail portal at https://webmail.sebts.edu/index.asp.
Financial Aid
Gifts from churches and individuals given directly to Southeastern Seminary and through the Cooperative Program amount to an annual subsidy of approximately $4,400 for each Southern Baptist student. The result is that basic fees are kept at a minimum. Other types of aid are made possible through gifts and funds established by individual and corporate donors. These make it possible to provide work grants, loans, emergency grants and scholarships to qualified students. Online students may read about our scholarships and download any forms they need here or they can contact the director of financial aid, at (919) 761-2305 or student.life@sebts.edu. Please Note: There are special scholarships for active IMB and MK students.
