Southeastern Ensembles

CHAPEL CHOIR: The Chapel Choir is a non-auditioned mixed chorus open to undergraduate and graduate students at Southeastern. The Chapel Choir meets on Tuesday afternoons and sings primarily in campus chapel services, end-of-the-term concerts, and an occasional off-campus church concert. Interested students should contact Dr. John Boozer at jboozer@sebts.edu.

DOXOLOGY VOCAL ENSEMBLE:
The Doxology Contemporary Vocal Ensemble is an auditioned mixed small vocal ensemble taken from the ranks of the Chapel Choir. This group provides chapel worship leadership and also takes regular musical mission tours, including mission tours to foreign countries. Interested students should contact Dr. John Boozer at jboozer@sebts.edu.


SEMINARY ORCHESTRA:
The Seminary Orchestra is an instrumental ensemble open to all orchestral instruments, as well as rhythm section. The orchestra rehearses on Friday mornings and provides chapel worship leadership regularly, especially for Thursday chapels. Interested students should contact Mr. Joshua Waggener at jwaggener@sebts.edu.


DOXOLOGY PRAISE BAND: The Doxology Contemporary Instrumental Ensemble is an auditioned instrumental praise band which collaborates with the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble to provide chapel worship leadership. Membership is taken from the ranks of the Seminary Orchestra and/or Chapel Choir. Interested students should contact Mr. Joshua Waggener at jwaggener@sebts.edu. This ensemble takes regular tours, including tours to foreign countries.

SEMINARY CHOIR/SOUTHEASTERN CHOIR: In cooperation with the Northeast Piedmont Chorale, the Seminary Choir (Southeastern Choir for college students) presents either a major work or selections from the masterpieces of choral music each semester.
