Faculty Members

The Ph.D. program at Southeastern offers a unique blending of American and European models of doctoral study. Students have the privilege of working under the direct mentorship of a world-class scholar within their area of academic concentration.  Each mentor directs the student in course selection, encourages independent research and writing in areas of the student's particular interests and introduces the student to the vast world of post-graduate studies. Personal interaction between students and faculty members enhances the collegial atmosphere of shared studies at this level. Eligible Professors Each participant in the Ph.D. program is assigned a faculty mentor in his or her area of concentration who will serve as a guide throughout the entire program. Information concerning faculty members who are eligible to mentor Ph.D. participants is available according to major fields (see menu at left).
