Daniel Akin
  

Daniel Akin is the president of Southeastern and teaches preaching and theology as well. He is a well-known speaker, particularly on the topics of marriage and a biblical view of sex. He is the author of God on Sex, a commentary on the Song of Solomon and a commentary on the Epistles of John in the New American Commentary series. He lives in Wake Forest with his wife, Charlotte. The Akins have four sons.

Robert Smith
Robert Smith brings to the workshop an expertise not only in biblical exposition but also in the African-American preaching tradition, and his ministry exemplifies what it means to be a passionate expositor. Smith currently serves as associate professor of divinity at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Ala. He is a contributing editor to a study of Christian ministry in the African-American church, Preparing for Christian Ministry, and co-editor of A Mighty Long Journey. He and his wife, Wanda, are the parents of four adult children.
