Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and its undergraduate school, The College at Southeastern, affirm the Bible as the authoritative Word of God. We covenant to teach in accordance with and not contrary to the Abstract of Principles and the Baptist Faith & Message. We further affirm the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy and the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary is an institution of higher learning and a Cooperative Program ministry of the Southern Baptist Convention. The College at Southeastern is a school of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and the College at Southeastern are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Graduation Rates
The following data represent Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary Graduation Rates for Undergraduate, Graduate, and Advanced Programs for the years 2009-2012. These data are based on graduating students only.

Undergraduate Programs Graduation Rates (2009 – 2012)
In the three Academic Years between 2009 and 2012, there were 150 students who graduated with an undergraduate degree—15 with an Associate’s degree, and 135 with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 60% of Associate’s Degree graduates completed their program within four years.
  • 56% of Bachelor’s Degree graduates completed their program within four years.
  • 89% of All Undergraduate graduates completed their program within six years.
Graduate Programs Graduation Rates (2009 – 2012)
In the three Academic Years between 2009 and 2012, there were 734 students who graduated with a graduate degree—262 with a Master of Arts (or its equivalent), and 472 with a Master of Divinity.
  • 92% of Master of Arts graduates completed their program within six years.
  • 90% of Master of Divinity graduates completed their program within six years.
Advanced Programs Graduation Rates (2009 – 2012)
In the three Academic Years between 2009 and 2012, there were 166 students who graduated with an advanced degree (including the ThM and all doctoral degrees).
  • 83% of Advanced Degree graduates completed their program within six years.
