Research Ethics

SEBTS is on the forefront of academic and ministry-related research that is making a Kingdom impact. Engaging in meaningful research requires an adherence to high standards of academic integrity and ethical guidelines laid out in the documents found on this page. Students who are engaged in research with human subjects are required to submit the appropriate documentation and gain approval from the Research Ethics and Review Committee prior to engaging in their research. Questions related to these documents or the approval process can be directed to Dr. Tate Cockrell (Chair - Research Ethics and Review Committee) at tcockrell@sebts.edu.
