American Baptist Churches Financial Aid

  • Scholarships for students who are members of American Baptist churches

American Council of Learned Societies

  • Scholarships for U.S. citizens or permanent residents undertaking post-doctoral research in the humanities
  • Available for 2 months to one year

Baptist College of Florida Agreement

  • For dependents of full-time faculty and upper level administrators
  • Dependents who are members of an SBC church will be granted a tuition waiver for the duraction of their work in any Masters degree program. Any student who is accepted into a Doctoral program will receive a fifty percent discount of the normal matriculation fees.
  • Dependents who are not members of an SBC church will be granted fifty percent off the non-SBC matriculation fees for any Master and/or Doctoral level studies for the duration of their program

Chaplain Samuel Grover Powell Scholarship Fund

  • Scholarships to students involved in a chaplain candidate program with preference given to students in their senior year who plan to serve in the United States Armed Forces

Daniel R. Hoover Scholarship Fund

  • Applicants must be studying in the ministry.
  • Applicants must be graduate students or students preparing to enter graduate school.
  • You must complete part 1 and part 2 online no later than midnight of Jan. 27th and you must submit ALL the additional required materials in ONE envelope with a postmark no later than January 27, 2014. No exceptions will be made to the deadline.
  • An Awards Advisory Committee will select the recipients based on academic merit, financial need, and community service. When selecting the recipients, when all things are equal, preference will be given to:
    • Worthy students who are in need of financial assistance and who have demonstrated their desire for an education by working at school or during vacation periods.
    • Students who are attending some North Carolina or southern institution.

International Order of the King’s Daughters and Sons

  • Scholarships for students enrolled full-time in the Master of Divinity program
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or Canada
  • Must have and maintain a "B" average for all graduate and undergraduate work
  • Must include a self-addressed stamped envelope with requests for an application
  • Application deadline is April 30
