General Scholarship
Southeastern, through the generosity of donors, has established funds allotted for students who demonstrate financial need. Click here to download the Sample Thank You Letter.
- Need-based scholarship
- College and Seminary students in all degree programs (Post-graduate and Advanced degrees are not guaranteed funding)
- Must be enrolled full-time on the Wake Forest campus
- Keesee, Active IMB, Journeyman/ISC scholarship recipients are NOT eligible
- Application available online during the application period
- Application schedules:
- Fall Application Period (entire academic year): March 1 - April 15
- Spring Application Period (Spring semester ONLY): October 1 - November 15
Raymond Bryan Brown Memorial Scholars Award
The Raymond Bryan Brown Memorial Scholars Awards is Southeastern's most prestigious scholarship and is awarded to only a select number of applicants. The application will be made available during the application periods listed below.
- Merit-based scholarship
- Incoming Master's level students (no prior Master's credits at Southeastern or other institution)
- Student must enroll as a full-time student on the Wake Forest campus to be eligible
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in all undergraduate coursework
- Keesee, Active IMB, and Journeyman/ISC Scholarship recipients are NOT eligible
- Award: $1,200 ($600 per first two semesters) for the first year of study only

- Fall Application Period (Fall and Spring semesters): March 1 - April 15
- Spring Application Period (Spring and Fall semesters) : October 1 - November 15
President's Scholars Award
The President's Scholars Awards are provided in recognition of exceptional academic qualities and commitment to Christian ministry. The application will be made available during the application periods listed below.
- Merit-based scholarship
- Incoming Master's level students (no prior Master's credits at Southeastern or other institution)
- Student must enroll as a full-time student on the Wake Forest campus to be eligible
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all undergraduate coursework
- Keesee, Active IMB, and Journeyman/ISC Scholarship recipients are NOT eligible
- Award: $1,000 ($500 per first two semesters) for the first year of study only
- Applications and further information available during the application period
- Application Schedules:
- Fall Application Period (Fall and Spring semesters): March 1 - April 15
- Spring Application Period (Spring and Fall semesters) : October 1 - November 15
Southeastern Women's Auxiliary Scholarship
"...this woman was full of good works and charitable deeds..." Acts 9:36
- The purpose of the Women's Auxiliary of Southeastern is to encourage female students of all ages in any degree program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary or Southeastern College at Wake Forest.
- The amount awarded each year may vary and is subject to change based on contributions made annually to the Women's Auxiliary. Applicants must enroll as full-time students on the Wake Forest campus.
- The Scholarship will be determined by the combination of academic diligence, extracurricular activities, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven commitment to Christian service.
- Applications will be made available in January 2012.
- Applications must be submitted to the Financial Development Office at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, P.O. Box 1889 Wake Forest, NC 27588-1889.

Dorothy Middleton Counseling Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Southern Baptist
- Must be a student currently pursuing a Counseling degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
- Must be a full-time student (9 hours) on the Wake Forest campus
- If the recipient withdraws from classes and/or drops below full-time status, the scholarship will be rescinded
- Must be applied toward tuition and cannot be refunded to the student
*Not all applicants are awarded this scholarship. Recipients are selected based upon academic performance and Christian character.
