Orientation Checklist

Housing - If you are planning to live in campus housing please contact the Housing Office to make arrangements at 919.761.2400, housing@sebts.edu or visit the website.

Financial Aid – You may begin applying for financial assistance, please make sure to check out the website for time sensitive deadlines or contact the Financial Aid office at 919.761.2317.

Employment – Check out employment opportunities once you are accepted to Southeastern by visiting the website or contact the Student Resources Office by email at studentemployment@sebts.edu or 919.761.2317 for more information.

CampusNet – Familiarize yourself with CampusNet, the student portal where you will find information on Moodle, Around Southeastern (the SEBTS campus blog), Student Life, helpful forms, and your Southeastern 1Card by clicking here.

Distance Learning Students – Please visit the “Approved for Admission, what next?” Section of the Distance Learning website for more information or contact the office at online@sebts.edu or 1-866.816.0273.

Credit Only/Certificate Students – Please contact the respective office on how to register and to receive more information regarding your certificate.

What are my New Student Orientation requirements?

On-campus students* are required to attend Welcome Week, a 7-day orientation, on the campus of The College at Southeastern. All on-campus students must pay a New Student Fee of $130.00 and fill out the Welcome Week registration form below.

*Note: On-campus students are any students living within 120 miles of Southeastern.

Distance Learning students are required to complete Online Orientation prior to the start of the semester. All Distance Learning students must pay a New Student Fee of $130.00 and fill out the Welcome Week registration form below.

Non-degree seeking students are not required to attend Welcome Week, complete Online Orientation, or pay the New Student Fee of $130.00. However, if any non-degree seeking student would like to attend Welcome Week, they are encouraged to fill out the registration form below.

What is Welcome Week?

The purpose of Welcome Week is to equip students to succeed at The College at Southeastern by giving them opportunities to learn pertinent information, receive academic advisement, meet classmates and Southeastern faculty... and have a whole lot of fun!

Welcome Week takes place August 9-15, and all days are mandatory for all new college students (please see Frequently Asked Questions for exceptions).
