Board of Visitors
The Board of Visitors stands at the heart of the Southeastern story. Because of the faithful men and women who join forces with our seminary, we can keep tuition low and provide a solid theological education taught by a faculty who believes the Bible must be taught and lived as God’s Word. The importance of the Board cannot be overstated. Their generous giving accounts for more than 75 percent of the funds that have been raised since 2002 toward completing Southeastern’s Fulfilling the Great Commission campaign.
Members of the Board come from all walks of life. The tie that binds the members is a common desire to assist Southeastern as she seeks to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission.
Members of the Board of Visitors assist Southeastern by:
- Praying for Southeastern regularly.
- Attending two “state of the seminary” meetings annually as their schedule permits.
- Sharing the Southeastern story and encouraging others to support Southeastern.
- Contributing a gift of $1,000 or more annually to support Southeastern in the work of equipping students.
