Women's Auxiliary

Purpose

The Women’s Auxiliary was founded in October of 2002 to establish an endowment fund in order to provide financial resources for annual scholarships to be awarded to female students at Southeastern.

Objectives
  • To generate greater interest in Southeastern among evangelical women.
  • To promote, advance and interpret the mission and ministry of Southeastern.
  • To build the endowment fund for scholarships for female students at Southeastern.
  • To provide prayer support and encouragement to female students at Southeastern through various ministry opportunities.

WHAT IS THE WOMEN’S AUXILIARY?

The Auxiliary consists of regional chapters. As interest grows, Women’s Auxiliary chapters are being established in various cities in North Carolina and other states.

The Auxiliary was founded to establish an endowment fund to provide scholarships for deserving female students here at Southeastern, in both the college and the seminary. In the spring of 2013, the Auxiliary awarded three scholarships. The dollar amount and number of scholarships awarded each year depend on the income from invested funds. Our goal is to build the endowment to $250,000 in the next five years through the annual dues of our members and additional gifts.

AUBREY, Seminary Student (pictured left) “Thank you, Women’s Auxiliary members, for being faithful to Him through your generosity and kindness. I am so blessed by His provision through you! Without your gifts, I would likely not be able to finish my studies here at SEBTS. I am so grateful!”
HANNAH, College Student (pictured right) “I am so thankful that I am able to continue my education at Southeastern through the Women’s Auxiliary Scholarship! I am thankful that God is providing all that I need in order to learn about Him at a Great Commission School.”
