The Center for Faith and Culture seeks to bring the Christian faith to bear upon all areas of life through helping others to think and to act Christianly in both private and public discourse.
The Center for Great Commission Studies is the hub of Southeastern's Great Commission efforts, helping develop students and faculty members who are Great Commission servants of their local churches. The CGCS serves the Southeastern community in four major areas: academics, research, mobilization, and convention relationships.
Bienvenidos a Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS).
The Kingdom Diversity initiative is a seminary-wide effort to seek and equip students from every corner of the kingdom to serve in every context of the kingdom. The initiative seeks to raise historically underrepresented voices on our campus across the lines of culture and gender. In addition, we are working hard to affirm and include the concerns of every student at every level of the seminary: from the curriculum, to student life programming, to organizational structures.
The Charles Haddon Spurgeon Center for Pastoral Leadership and Preaching exists to equip and encourage pastors to lead healthy, disciple-making churches for the glory of God around the world. The Center represents an intentional bridge between the seminary and the local church.
This collection, which Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary holds in custodianship, provides a wealth of information on the life and ministry of Francis A. Schaeffer. Although he died in May 1984 there remains in some quarters of evangelicalism a strong interest in his ministry and many believe that his ministry still has much to say to the evangelical world today. It is this fact in addition to the tremendous positive influence Schaeffer had on evangelicalism that this gift represents a very significant event in the life of Southeastern as well as in the life of the entire evangelical world. It will be the task of the library staff at Southeastern to inventory all of the material, put it in digitized format and archive the originals at the library of Southeastern.
The Global Theological Initiative (GTI) marries together theological concepts with practical experience for the growth of ministry leaders. This initiative encourages students to supplement their seminary education with ministry experience and on-the-field-training, which allows students to earn class credits outside of the classroom.
