Theological Partnerships

Southeastern believes that theological partnerships are a vital component to theological education. The Center for Great Commissions Studies, Distance Learning, EQUIP, and The Global Theological Initiative are all invaluable partnerships that enable theological education to come to fruition.

The Great Commission Equipping Network (EQUIP) is an expanded segment of the Global Theological Initiative of Southeastern. EQUIP encourages the local church to take responsibility for theological education by wedding together the efforts of professors and pastors.

The Office of Distance Learning is another segment of Southeastern’s Global Theological Initiative. Recognizing the commitments of family, work and ministry, Distance Learning offers students the best of Southeastern’s curriculum and resources at a distance.

The third theological partnership is The Center for Great Commission Studies. The Center is the hub of Southeastern's Great Commission efforts, helping develop students and faculty members who are Great Commission servants of their local churches. The CGCS serves the Southeastern community in four major areas: academics, research, mobilization, and convention relationships.

Lastly, the Global Theological Initiative assists in the maintenance, stability, and growth of existing work and also assists in strategic networks of churches to provide pastoral training. Also, GTI promotes the training of church planters/missiologists, and the next generation of scholars in strategic locations.
