FIRST YEAR
First Semester
Program Orientation 1 hour
1st Seminar 8X01 3 hours
- DMN 8601 - Foundations in Christian Leadership. An advanced study of the theoretical and foundational issues of Christian leadership with specific focus on their relevance to the practice of leadership. Topics examined include current literature on the topic, critical issues facing the church. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8701 – Foundations for Biblical Counseling. An advanced study of the theoretical and foundational issues of counseling with specific focus on their relevance to the practice of counseling. Topics defined and examined include current, critical issues facing the church. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8801 – Foundations for Great Commission Mobilization. An advanced study of the theoretical and foundational issues of missions, evangelism with specific focus on their relevance to the practice of these disciplines. Topics defined and examined include current, critical issues facing the church. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8901 – Foundations for Expository Preaching. An advanced study of the theoretical and foundational issues of expository preaching with specific focus on their relevance to the practice of preaching. Topics defined and examined include current, critical issues facing the church. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8401 – Recovering the Heart of the Great Commission: Foundations in Disciple-making Contextualized Learning Experience (CLE) 8X11 2 hours

- DMN 8602 – Leading and Managing Your Ministry. Studies organizational leadership and management practices for leading a ministry. Attention will be given to the biblical critique of contemporary methodologies. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8702 – Biblical Counseling and Personal Crises/Issues. Studies the biblical approaches and issues of biblical counseling related to personal issues. Attention will be given to the biblical critique of contemporary methodologies. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8802 – Church Planting and Church Revitalization. Examines the biblical and theological basis and nature of church planting and revitalization. Attention will be given to the biblical critique of contemporary methodologies. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8902 – Expository Preaching and the Old Testament. Examines the biblical and theological basis and nature of expository preaching. Attention will be given to the biblical critique of contemporary methodologies and the Old Testament. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8402 – Cultivating Spiritual Formation through the Disciplines
- Contextualized Learning Experience (CLE) 8X12 2 hours
- Request a Faculty Chair through the DMin office after the 2nd seminar
- Contact the Faculty Chair by the 3rd seminar to discuss possible project

- DMN 8603 - Change, Power and Conflict Management. Seminar examines biblical approaches to leading change in ministry and managing conflict. The practical evaluation of contemporary methodologies used in the local ministry context will be required. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8703 – Biblical Counseling Approach to Marriage and Family Issues. An advanced study of the biblical approaches and issues of biblical counseling related to marriage and family issues. The practical evaluation of contemporary methodologies used in the local ministry context will be required. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8803 - Issues in Great Commission Mobilization. A survey of the historical and contemporary movements and models of missions, evangelism, church planting, and church revitalization with a focus on current practice. The practical evaluation of contemporary methodologies used in the local ministry context will be required. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8903 – Christ-centered Expository Preaching. Surveys the historical movements and models of expository preaching with a focus on current practice. The practical evaluation of contemporary methodologies used in the local ministry context will be required. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8403 – Critical Issues in Disciple-making.
- Contextualized Learning Experience (CLE) 8X13 – 2 hours
- Make regular contacts with Faculty Chair to discuss a possible project

Examines the practical and strategic issues relevant to Christian Leadership and integrates theory and practice into strategic methodologies for the local ministry context. Strategies for approaching current issues will be developed. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8704 – Issues in Biblical Counseling. Examines the practical and strategic issues relevant to Biblical Counseling and integrates theory and practice into strategic methodologies for the local ministry context. Strategies for approaching current issues will be developed. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8804 – Developing a Strategy for Great Commission Mobilization. Examines the practical and strategic issues relevant to Great Commission mobilization (missions, evangelism, and church growth) and integrates theory and practice into strategic methodologies for the local ministry context. Strategies for approaching current issues will be developed. 3 semester hours
- DMN 8904 – Pastoral Implications of Expository Preaching. Examines the practical and strategic issues relevant to Expository Preaching and integrates theory and practice into strategic methodologies for the local ministry context. Strategies for approaching current issues will be developed. 3 semester hours
