Evangelism
What is evangelism?
What is the church's role in evangelism?
Who is called to evangelize?
How can I evangelize better to my neighbor?

When a church has an unbiblical understanding of the gospel, its members don’t evangelize. They evangelize in misleading or manipulative ways. Or they share a message that’s not the gospel. But a biblical understanding of evangelism clarifies our role in the mission God has given to the church. We should preach the good news about what Christ has done, and pray that God would bring people to believe it.

The fifth annual 9Marks at Southeastern Conference will explore the topic of Evangelism, its relationship to the church, and why we must tell non-believers the good news of Jesus Christ.

The speakers for this fifth mark will be Daniel Akin, Thabiti Anyabwile, Mark Dever, John Folmar, J.D. Greear, and Peter Williams.
