Virtuous Pursuit

Comments from Past Events
“Virtuous Pursuit is an amazing ministry!  From the first time I heard about Virtuous Pursuit, and listened to the young ladies speak at a sister church in King, I have been deeply impressed with the mission and the results I have seen first-hand.  I am deeply appreciative for the messages brought by your ladies and only wish I could have provided a larger audience.  However, as we both know, God does some of his best work in small intimate groups of Believers.”  Mary in Kernersville

“The message was time appropriate, and on topic.  I also appreciate your help with this conference.  I thank you for your advice and for contacting Sonia for me.  I was very pleased with the Virtuous Pursuit ministry.  I would be pleased to possibly contact you again for next year.  Thank You again, and God Bless!”  Leah in Roanoke Rapids
“…make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue…”
2 Peter 1:5b

The Virtuous Pursuit ministry was established by Southeastern Seminary in an attempt to serve the women in churches while providing practical ministry experience for our female students.

Virtuous Pursuit’s Prayer

The prayer of Virtuous Pursuit is that women would live in a passionate pursuit of the Lord and honor Him in the way they live their lives in their homes, churches, communities and world.

Who Are We?

The Virtuous Pursuit ministry team includes women pursuing a Masters in one of Southeastern’s various degree programs. These women are nearing the completion of their degrees and are seeking to serve women in some capacity.

What We Do – Whatever You Need!

The Virtuous Pursuit ministry team provides biblical encouragement for women of the local church as well as leadership training for ministries to women. We also provide teachers for women’s ministry conferences or events.

May We Serve You?

There is no fee for the services of Virtuous Pursuit. We only ask that lodging and travel expenses are provided. If the Virtuous Pursuit ministry can be of service to you, please contact Carrie Gilliam at cgilliam@sebts.edu or (919) 761-2336.
