Discipleship Groups at Southeastern

Discipleship Groups (DGroups) were instituted at Southeastern to aid incoming undergraduate students in spiritual growth and maturity, the development of a godly lifestyle, personal holiness, and the spiritual disciplines. We pray that new undergraduate students will receive encouragement from fellowship among DGroup members and will be led and challenged effectively by the DGroup leaders. Each DGroup will be led by a graduate student who is enrolled in a Counseling Practicum class or by a faculty member.

All college students are required to complete DGroups and must register through the online registration; students must complete two semesters of DGroups within the first two semesters of enrolling at The College at Southeastern.

Practicum Students

Southeastern is grateful for your involvement in a discipleship group this semester.  Counseling Practicum students are an essential part of the DGroup process through leadership in helping equip undergraduate students in their pursuit of spiritual growth and maturity. NOTE: DGroups will begin meeting the week of August 25th, 2008 and will finish meeting the week of November 17th, 2008. There are a total of twelve weeks; DGroups will not meet over Fall Break or Thanksgiving Break.
