Late Payment Appeal Form
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Student must complete this online form in its entirety.
- Southeastern has published policies on most fees, charges, and refunds. This information is available from the Accounting Services office website at http://www.sebts.edu/AccountingServices. Your explanation should attempt to show why an exception to the published policy is justified. Requests that simply disagree with the policy are usually not granted.
- A committee representing the Accounting Services, Housing and Student Life Offices will review your appeal request. The committee takes your comprehensive activity into consideration in determining their decision. Based upon their review; a written decision will be sent to the Student’s SEBTS EMAIL account. Please note: This process usually takes 3 - 4 weeks for processing due to the research conducted on each request submitted.
- If you are not satisfied with the determination at this level, you may appeal the decision, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of their email, to the Controller’s Office, PO Box 1889, Wake Forest, NC 27588. The Controller’s Office will further review the circumstances and provide a written decision to those matters appealed to that office. This process will conclude the Seminary’s appeal process.
- Student may appeal a late payment fee within 60 days of the assessment. Appeals older than 60 days are not considered by the committee.
