Lecture: The Unfamiliar Passions of God

Slavery is in no way a thing of the past. Even today, injustice persists all around the world. In the exciting lecture given by Larry Martin, Church Mobilization Director of the International Justice Mission, he informed us of the growing awareness of global and local human trafficking issues. In light of this awareness, he provided avenues for getting involved in the work of fighting injustice.

If justice is at the very heart of God, how can we allow it to stay at the margin of our mission?  Through Martin's presentation, we learned about the work of International Justice Mission and how we can become a part of God's plan to combat modern day slavery, sex trafficking, and other forms of violent oppression.
