The Center for Faith and Culture does not endorse nor necessarily agree with all the information available on these sites.
The L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture seeks to engage culture as salt and light, presenting and defending the Christian faith and demonstrating its implications for all areas of human existence.
The Center has a two-fold purpose: (1) To convey graciously and apply effectively the Christian worldview to all areas of culture and to the human condition; (2) To encourage and support the Church in its redemptive work.
First and foremost we ask that you join us in praying for the Center that in all we do we would be faithful to Christ our Lord. We also ask that you would consider making a financial gift to the Center.
We have a number of ways that you can give to the Center and in doing so partner with us "to engage culture as salt and light:"
Give Online: You can give to the Center through Southeastern's online giving option. Simply designate your gift to the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture in the "Designation" box.
Give by Mail: You can give to the Center by mailing a check designated to L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture to:
Office of Institutional Advancement
P.O. Box 1889
Wake Forest, NC 27588
Give by completing a Faith Commitment Form: Southeastern's Faith Commitment Form allows you set up a regular giving plan. Your gift can be designated to the Center for Faith and Culture on this form.
To learn more about the many ways your gift can make a difference at Southeastern or about the many ways to give, please check out Southeastern's Guide to Giving or request a printed copy by contacting us at (919) 761-2202 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have question regarding giving please call (919) 761-2202 or e-mail at email@example.com.
You can also support the Center through endowments. Listed below are various funds to which you can donate and in doing so partner with us "to engage culture as salt and light."
Center Endowment - $2.5 million
The Center Endowment Fund provides ongoing support for the work of the Center. In time, this fund will serve as the Center's primary source of funding, covering operational expenses ranging from labels and paper to lectures and publications.
Endowed Directorship - $1.5 million
An Endowed Directorship provides funds to help defray the costs associated with the salary, benefits, and administrative support for the Center's director and ensures that the Center is always in the hands of a capable leader even during challenging economic times.
Research Endowments - $500,000
Research Endowments support Visiting Professorships which enable the Center for Faith and Culture to recruit accomplished scholars from other institutions to teach and lecture on a short-term basis. Research Endowments also support Endowed Graduate Fellowships which provide funds for tuition, books and a stipend for Ph.D. students working with the Center for Faith and Culture in areas of theology and culture.
Conference Endowments - $250,000
Conference Endowments provide income to underwrite the costs associated with hosting conferences. These conferences enable the Center to expose Southeastern's students to leading scholars, address important cultural issues from a biblical perspective, and reach a broader community with the message of Christ and a Christian worldview.
Most funds can be started with a gift or gifts totaling $25,000 and can be named for the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor. To learn more about how you can support the work of the Center through Endowments, please contact Daniel Palmer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
