Endowments

Giving

You can also support the Center through endowments. Listed below are various funds to which you can donate and in doing so partner with us “to engage culture as salt and light.”

Center Endowment - $2.5 million
The Center Endowment Fund provides ongoing support for the work of the Center. In time, this fund will serve as the Center’s primary source of funding, covering operational expenses ranging from labels and paper to lectures and publications.

Endowed Directorship - $1.5 million
An Endowed Directorship provides funds to help defray the costs associated with the salary, benefits, and administrative support for the Center’s director and ensures that the Center is always in the hands of a capable leader even during challenging economic times.

Research Endowments – $500,000
Research Endowments support Visiting Professorships which enable the Center for Faith and Culture to recruit accomplished scholars from other institutions to teach and lecture on a short-term basis. Research Endowments also support Endowed Graduate Fellowships which provide funds for tuition, books and a stipend for Ph.D. students working with the Center for Faith and Culture in areas of theology and culture.

Conference Endowments - $250,000
Conference Endowments provide income to underwrite the costs associated with hosting conferences. These conferences enable the Center to expose Southeastern’s students to leading scholars, address important cultural issues from a biblical perspective, and reach a broader community with the message of Christ and a Christian worldview.

Most funds can be started with a gift or gifts totaling $25,000 and can be named for the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor.  To learn more about how you can support the work of the Center through Endowments, please contact Daniel Palmer at dpalmer@sebts.edu.
