Alumni

Alumni are students who have graduated with a degree from either the College at Southeastern or Southeastern Seminary. Persons who have attended but did not receive a degree may use the library with guest privileges.

Alumni may:

• Check-out up to 5 items total for a period of 21 days (AV materials are checked out for one week).  If another patron has not requested the items, they may be renewed for an additional 21 days. However, we only guarantee the original 21 days with any item. Please note that if an item is requested by another patron we may recall the item before the renewal date. Additionally, items requested for course reserves may be recalled at any time.

• View account information by using ID and PIN number (usually the last four digits of your SSN#) to login to the library catalog. On Alcott, you will be able to see what has been checked-out, renew your books, and save research bibliographies.

• Use any of the print or electronic resources, except course reserve materials. Due to license agreements, off campus access to online databases is not available. Alumni are advised to use the ILL service at their nearest public library to borrow items the seminary library does not own.

• Scan to email function on printers allows students to scan documents and email them to their preferred email account for free.

Alumni living more than 2 hrs away, who do not have ILL at a public library, may use the Borrowing by Mail service.
