Welcome to SEBTS!

Welcome new students! We are glad that the Lord has led you to be a part of the Southeastern Seminary family.

To celebrate your arrival, SEBTS has set aside August 11-12 for New Student Orientation in order to welcome you to campus. New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students, as the days are filled with pertinent information and activities that allow new students to register for classes, pay bills, learn about policies, and meet the faculty and staff.

Please note that New Student Orientation is required for all new seminary students. Please read the information on this page carefully and be sure that you confirm your intentions to attend SEBTS by registering and by paying your NSO fee of $50 in the final stage of the registration process. Payments are due on or before July 14, 2008, and you will not be able to register for classes until this payment has been made.

Some students may be exempt from the New Student Orientation fee. If you fall into one of the following categories, then you do not need to submit a payment:

• Certificate in Women’s Studies student
• Extension student
• Online student
• Southeastern employee taking classes for spiritual enrichment

Remember that if you are planning to live in campus housing, you will finalize arrangements in the Housing Office when you get here and can then begin moving into your new home. If you have not already submitted your housing application, you may begin the process by going to the Housing Office portion of our website.
