Our office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Since Southeastern has a large number of singles in our housing areas, we are committed to providing a variety of housing options to meet the needs of the single students who attend. Southeastern offers dorm spaces, shared apartment housing and apartment housing with private bedrooms, as well as opportunities to rent an entire apartment by yourself. Please see Rent Rates for current rent amounts.

Housing for students age 30 and over

Students ages 30-35 can rent single student housing flat rate apartments with other students ages 30-35 (where available) or rent a private apartment (subletting permitted only to other students ages 30-35).

Single students 36 years or older can rent a private apartment in campus housing (subletting not permitted).

Housing Options for Single Students

Southeastern offers a variety of housing options to accommodate single male and female seminary students. We have rent plans to fit just about any need or budget.

Please see the Flat Rate Statement of Policy for the benefits and responsibilities of choosing a flat rate rent plan. All plans below are flat rate except the Private Apartment option.

Dorm Housing - Shared Dorm Room
Share a dorm-style apartment with three other students at the McDowell Townhouses (male or female)

  • Share large bedroom with three other students on two sets of bunk beds.
  • Utilities included are electric, water and sewer. 
  • Furnished apartment
    • Bedroom furniture includes beds, dressers and closet space for four students.
    • There is a study room with four work stations, two shelves and desk chairs.
    • The living room has a sofa, chair, coffee table, and end table with lamp (television is not included).
  • The kitchen has a stove and a refrigerator (microwave is not included).
  • Dining area has a dining table with four chairs.
  • A washer and dryer are included in the apartment.
  • Bath facilities: one bathroom

Shared Bedroom Options
Share a bedroom with one other person in a two-bedroom apartment at Flaherty Farms (male or female) or Goldston Hall (male only)

  • Individual rooms are not assigned. They are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Utilities included are electric, water and sewer. Wireless internet is also included at Goldston Hall.
  • Apartment is unfurnished.
  • There are four students assigned to each apartment.

Private Bedroom Options
Have a private bedroom in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment at Flaherty Farms (male or female)

  • Individual rooms are not assigned. They are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Utilities included are electric, water and sewer.
  • Apartment is unfurnished.
  • There are three students assigned to the apartment.

Have a private bedroom and bathroom in a 2-bedroom apartment at Flaherty Farms 

  • Individual rooms are not assigned. They are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Utilities included are electric, water and sewer.
  • Apartment is unfurnished.
  • There are two students assigned to the apartment.

Private Apartment Housing

Rent an apartment by yourself (male or female)

  • Apartment rent rates are the same as Family Housing Rent Rates.
  • Apartment is unfurnished
  • Occupants are responsible for paying the utilities.  Occupants must have electric, water and sewer utilities put in their names within five business days of signing their Housing Agreement.
  • The occupant may be allowed to sublet to another student with the permission of the Director of Housing.
