Military Rate Application Process

To qualify for the military tuition rate, a student must be an active-duty, honorably-discharged or other than dishonorably-discharged veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. SEBTS military students receiving the Southern Baptist scholarship are NOT eligible. Spouses and dependents are also ineligible.

Deadlines for Application Submission

  • Fall semester: July 15th
  • Spring semester & January term: November 15th
  • Summer terms: April 15th
All paperwork must be turned in by the above dates to receive the military tuition rate.


Steps to Apply for Military Tuition Rate

If you have not already done so, apply for admissions to Southeastern.

Apply for Addmissions

After applying and being accepted to SEBTS, you will need to complete the military tuition rate request form. Submit your completed request form by the appropriate deadline above to militaryaffairs@sebts.edu, or mail to:

Please provide one of the following documents with your Military Tuition Rate Request Form:

  • DD-214
  • Military Orders
  • End of Month LES

Due to government regulations we are unable to accept military identification cards for verification of military service.
