Biography

George is married to Catherine who he has known since middle school. They are both graduates of the University of Georgia. They have 3 college-aged children. George also holds the M.Div. with International Church Planting from SEBTS and the Doctor of Missiology from Western Seminary. He has been teaching at SEBTS since 2008 and serves as Professor of Global Disciple Making and Bailey Smith Chair of Evangelism. He has authored and contributed to several books on missions including 40 Questions About the Great Commission with Drs. Akin and Merkle and the forthcoming, Generational Disciple Making.
