Sportsmanship

The Student Life Office believes good sportsmanship to be an extremely important quality and seeks to encourage its development. Therefore, Student Life will neither condone, nor allow, unsportsmanlike conduct in its programs.

Anyone participating in an intramural sport must be either an active student, student’s spouse, student’s child, alumni who has paid all Southeastern fees, staff or faculty. If you were not enrolled in the previous semester, you must be enrolled in the current semester to qualify as an active student. All participants must be at least 16 years of age to play intramural sports at SEBTS.

Participation in all intramural activities is completely voluntary; therefore, Southeastern and its staff assume no responsibility for injuries received during such participation. It is the responsibility of each participant to be aware of the demands and inherent dangers of the sports in which he or she participates. Each participant should evaluate his or her health relative to these factors. It is highly recommended that each participant has a medical examination prior to participation. Each participant will sign a risk and release form through www.imleagues.com prior to playing an intramural sport.

To create a team or sign up with one, please go to the SEBTS Intramural Sports Homepage. Create an account and form teams through the website. All players must fill out a Risk and Release form before being eligible to play.

Note: It is best to be signed up by a captain on a team. Filling out the Free Agent Form means you will be placed on a team at Intramural Office’s discretion.
