Effective for the spring 2015sunrise over binkley semester, members of the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary Alumni Association (SAA) can audit any graduate-level course, both in class and online, free of charge.

This convenient option for continuing education aims to support and encourage Southeastern’s alumni as they serve in a variety of ministry contexts around the world.

“This is a chance for graduates to brush up on a particular topic or explore new topics that are helpful for their personal development or ministry preparation,” said Jonathan Six, director of Alumni Development at Southeastern.

“I am delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to our alumni association members,” Six said. “It is a great benefit for those looking for a time of refreshment or those looking to sharpen their skills as practitioners. My hope is that many of our alumni will take advantage of this wonderful ministry tool.”

The SAA is the primary means for alumni to give back to Southeastern through membership fees and other gifts. Members also enjoy a number of benefits including discounts at the Court and the Locker, conference discounts, access to the gym and library and access to the American Theological Library Association’s religion database.

SAA rates are $40 per year for an individual or $60 per year for a couple. Current students can also join the SAA at $20 per year to begin receiving alumni communications and enjoy the benefits of membership while still students.
