Double double logoSoutheastern is seeking strategic gifts to train men and women to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission.

Every gift to the Southeastern Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to the first $50,000 raised from now through March 31.

Daniel Palmer, director of financial development, said, “Our prayer is that this challenge will inspire many to see how critical they are in the work of training men and women for a lifetime of faithful and effective Kingdom service. Each gift is a huge blessing.”

Donations will impact the approximately 3,100 students at SEBTS. “During the late winter and early spring months, charitable giving often lags behind the pace required to meet the needs of a burgeoning student body,” Palmer noted. “We are thankful for the foresight and strategic investment of a cherished friend of Southeastern to make this campaign possible.”

SEBTS alumni and students are serving and leading in areas such as pastoral ministry, worship leadership, Biblical counseling and church planting.

Kenny Goetze, a ministry partner and member of the SEBTS Board of Visitors, said, “A gift to Southeastern is multiplied through so many students and ministries; we will need all of eternity just to celebrate the ways God is working through the preparation received at Southeastern.”

“This is such a wonderful opportunity to make a Kingdom impact,” Goetze added. “I cannot think of a better way to make a gift with such exponential potential.”
