Best of 9Marks at Southeastern online resource now available

While 9Marks at Southeastern has been canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19, SEBTS is providing an online resource to celebrate and highlight content from past conferences.

For the past decade, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) and 9Marks have partnered together to equip hundreds of pastors from the United States and around the world. This partnership has likewise fostered a more comprehensive understanding of forming healthy congregations for discipleship and gospel advancement.

“The partnership between 9Marks and Southeastern Seminary surpassed my expectations,” said SEBTS President Danny Akin. “It has allowed two organizations with common commitments and convictions to work together to better equip churches to think biblically and function biblically as faithful, New Testament believers. I believe those who have attended through the years would enthusiastically say they were well served.”

In lieu of an in-person gathering SEBTS hopes to continue serving pastors and their churches through providing a selection of sermons from each conference over the past decade ranging from expositional preaching to church leadership. Over the years, the nine marks of a healthy church have brought clarity to ministers of God’s Word on how the Bible speaks to the beliefs and practices of the Body of Christ from expositional preaching to church leadership.

“The 9marks conference at SEBTS has for the last decade been one of my favorite pastors conferences I attend each year,” said Mark Dever, founder of 9Marks and pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. “Hundreds of pastors from the mid-Atlantic region and beyond have gathered, fellowshipped and been instructed. Testimonies are plentiful as to how God has used it. I pray that some of these addresses will now find some additional influences in your own life and ministry.”
