Anna Christine Borger (March 29, 1999 – May 7, 2008) lived a brief but full life. She grew up in Indonesia, where she served with her family as International Mission Board representatives. Her life was marked by a precocious wit, a voracious appetite for reading, a great love for her family, and most of all, a deep devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Anna had a sensitive heart for the poor and needy in whatever context she was in. She loved the Indonesian people, prayed for them and shared her faith as she was able. Her brief time spent in the United States was marked by her genuine concern for the children at her school who were in difficult life situations. She prayed for the “wounded children” and shared her faith boldly.

The Anna C. Borger Memorial Scholarship Fund shall be used to provide financial assistance to international students attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
