The Office of Admissions is the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families. Charlie is originally from Downers Grove, IL, right outside the beautiful city of Chicago. He moved to Dallas, TX in 2017 to attend Dallas Baptist University where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry here at Southeastern. Charlie and his wife Jordan are grateful for their church, Christ Covenant Raleigh, where Charlie serves as a Pastoral Intern. They love coffee, reading, sports, Star Wars, and long walks with their dog, Calvin.

Hailing from the small town of Thomasville, AL, Thomas completed a BA in Theology from the University of Mobile in 2014. He moved to Wake Forest in 2018 to pursue an MA in Biblical Languages. After completing the MA, he began a PhD in New Testament that is currently in progress. He aspires to instill a love for the New Testament to fellow believers and future students. When he is not in the classroom or reading for seminars, he enjoys intricate coffee, reading fiction, travelling, hiking, and various recreational sports with friends.

Undergraduate Admissions Counselor
Tommy is from Fort Worth, Texas originally, and has been living in Wake Forest since 2021. He graduated from the College at Southeastern in the Spring of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Church Revitalization. Tommy’s desire is to help students be equipped by Southeastern to then be sent out as ambassadors of the Gospel to a hurting and broken world. Tommy’s hobbies include reading, classic cars, motorcycles, and visiting National Parks.
International Student Counselor
Raised in Georgia, Camille moved to North Carolina from Athens, GA where she spent several years serving in college ministry and completing a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern as a distance learner. She moved to Wake Forest in 2021 to begin pursuing a ThM in Missiology and hopes to join a church planting team here or abroad in a university city. She loves enjoying cross-cultural friendships, cooking and eating new foods, painting, and running.
Jessica is originally from the beautiful country of Brazil. She moved to Wake Forest, with her husband Caden, August 2020 to pursue a master’s degree and be better equipped to serve the local church. Hiking, reading, singing, and going on bike rides are some of the activities Jessica and her husband enjoy doing together.
Tate is originally from Arlington, TX and moved to Wake Forest in August of 2021. Since moving here, he has been working on his MDiv In Christian Ministry and has loved every moment of it! Tate desires to see students grow in their love for the local and global church. In this role, Tate handles all of the logistics concerning SEBTS recruiting. Originally from Alabaster, Alabama, Ryan moved to Wake Forest in February of 2021. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Troy University and is hoping to pursue his Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry in the fall of 2021. His desire is to see people enjoy life with Jesus. He enjoys coffee shops, basketball, movies and exploring new places with his wife, Taylor.

A native of Fayetteville, NC, Chandler recently completed her Master of Divinity degree in Christian Ministry and plans to pursue a PhD. It is her privilege to help students explore Southeastern’s role in their lives as they worship and serve Christ. She looks forward to hosting Preview Day and assisting with orientation for new students. In her spare time, she loves reading fiction and creating memories with loved ones at home and around the world.
Sophie is originally from Tampa, Florida, and moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University for her BA in Information, Communications, Technology & BA in Sociology! She is currently working on her MA in Christian Education with Biblical Counseling, and has loved exploring the state of North Carolina since moving here in August of 2022. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing board games with friends, and hanging out with her dachshund, Boba.
Alta is from Lancaster Pennsylvania and came to Wake Forest in 2019. She studies at the College at Southeastern where she is pursuing a Bachelor in Global Studies and a minor in Business. Her next step is to achieve a master’s in Intercultural studies at SEBTS to prepare her for the mission field. Alta desires to make the love of Christ known to others throughout the states and around the world. When not studying and working Alta enjoys traveling, hiking, and connecting with friends.
Admissions – Doctor of Philosophy
The Office of Ph.D. Studies invites all eligible persons to complete the application as specified in the directions on the Online Application page. Admission to the Ph.D. program is selective and is offered only to students who have demonstrated the intellectual ability, preparation and motivation to perform academically at the highest level. Enrollment in the program is limited to applicants who, in the judgment of the faculty, appear best qualified and most capable of using the resources that the seminary provides.
Admissions – Doctor of Education
The EdD is a professional, terminal research degree with a commuter-friendly, modified residency format. On-campus time is limited to one week per quarter, with online coursework before and sometimes after class sessions. Students move through the coursework as part of a cohort, which is usually a group of 10-12 students. The cohort format provides a community of scholars in which iron sharpens iron. Admissions – Doctor of Ministry
The program of study required for the DMin degree will take students no fewer than three academic years and no greater than six years. Entering students must understand the high level of commitment that is required to actively participate in this degree program year round for this period of time.

Brandi is originally from just outside of St. Louis, MO and has lived in Wake Forest since January of 2019. In her time at Southeastern, Brandi has completed her BA in Justice and Social Ethics and is now working towards her MA in Ministry Leadership. After graduation, she hopes to serve overseas in a logistics capacity, but in the meantime, she is enjoying the opportunity to serve Southeastern’s certificate students. Other things she enjoys are Cardinal baseball, outdoor adventures with her dog, and donuts with her husband.

A native Texan, Beau is married to Sarah and has three children. He earned his PhD in Biblical Studies (emphasis in Theology) and ThM in Pedagogy from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, his MDiv from SEBTS, and his BA in Christian Studies from Ouachita Baptist University. Before joining SEBTS as the Director of Distance Learning, Beau served as a Teaching Pastor at a church in the North Dallas area for nearly a decade. His heartbeat is to help bridge the gap between the local church and the seminary by making theological education accessible and contextual.

Adam is from Springfield, MO. He is married to Stephanie and has five children. He has an M.Div. ICP and MAIS from SEBTS and has served as a missionary in both Central Asia and East Asia. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at Southeastern.
Emma-Kate is from Garner, NC and is an English major at the College at Southeastern. She enjoys adventures with family and friends, reading fantasy novels, playing video games, and getting immersed in any good story.

Instructional Design Supervisor
Chandler has been a student at Southeastern since the Fall 2017 semester. He earned his BA in Theology in May 2021, and he is now working on an Advanced MDiv and MA in Biblical and Theological Studies. He is passionate about historical theology and plans to pursue a ThM and PhD in the discipline. Chandler has almost 4 years of experience as an academic coach, and he enjoys serving faculty and staff in academic administration. His most favorite thing to do is spending time with his fiancé, Lauren Lockhart, who is pursuing a PhD in New Testament at Southeastern.

Hannah is currently working on her MDiv in Advanced Biblical Studies at SEBTS. She received a BA in anthropology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She serves a church revitalization outside of Durham and enjoys singing on the worship team. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys gardening and ballroom dancing.

Empowering local churches and ministry organizations to take an active role in the theological education of their students. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary believes that some theological education is best done in partnership with the local church. As part of the Distance Learning office, The Equip Network empowers churches and ministry organizations to offer accredited and accessible courses to students at the highest level of theological training. The Equip Network weds the seminary experience with real life ministry opportunities to provide students with the most integrative ministry training available. Students can fulfill their remaining degree requirements through our integrative online, hybrid and/or campus-based classes.
Equip Network Office
Bradley Eaves joined the Equip Network team as Associate Director in the summer of 2023, having served Southeastern in other roles since 2018. He is passionate about the intersection of theological education and the local church and seeing students trained theologically within the context of the ministries they serve. He earned his MDiv in Christian Ministries in 2021 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Systematic Theology. He originally hails from the great state of Mississippi. He’s been married to his sweet bride, Frances, since August of 2011, and they have two daughters.
Colleen Hall began serving as the Administrative Assistant to the Equip Network in the spring of 2020. Before coming to Southeastern, she served a two-year Journeyman term in Southeast Asia. Colleen is a member of North Wake Church and is currently pursuing a Masters of Intercultural Studies at Southeastern to learn to better serve in an international context.
Walter Bowen began serving with the Equip Network team in the summer of 2021. He is passionate about all nations coming to know and serve the Lord and the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry. Prior to this position, he was a Pastor of Discipleship and Missions for over six years in Arkansas. He and his wife, Purnima, have served with the International Mission Board in Africa. Together, they have been ministering to multiethnic communities and people groups for over eighteen years.

Drew is a Raleigh native, but also has lived in London and Birmingham. He and his wife, Hannah, are camp sweethearts and have three sons, Reece, Johnny and Oliver! He has a BA in History from Samford and a MEd in Higher Education Administration from NC State, which lead to his sports allegiances of the Wolfpack and the Samford Bulldogs. He is currently studying for his next degree, the EdD at Southeastern.

Hailing from Pickens, SC, Chris has lived in beautiful places such as South Florida and St. Thomas Virgin Islands. His family has quite the legacy in Baptist life, and they ultimately led him to Southeastern, driving in him a passion for fulfilling the Great Commission. He works closely with Baptist Associations and State Conventions across the country. In his free time, you can find Chris reading or walking. Once a year, Chris goes on a tour of lighthouses, and has visited over 200 lighthouses so far!
A South Carolina native, Meredith came to Southeastern in 2013 and received a Masters of Divinity in Missiology. After a few years living and serving in Houston, TX, the Lord called Meredith and her family to return to Wake Forest and to Southeastern Seminary. Her husband, Keelan, serves as the Director for the Center of Great Commission Studies. Meredith enjoys raising her two children, reading, and writing on her own website.

Originally from Indiana, Caden completed his undergraduate studies at Scarborough College at Southwestern Seminary where he met his wife, Jessica. At 12 years old, his family joined Wycliffe Bible Translators and spent a few years living on the Island Nation of Papua New Guinea. Caden is pursuing his MA in Philosophy and Apologetics here at Southeastern with the goal of equipping himself for a future of serving the Lord. You can generally find him on a hike, in a book, behind a camera, or any sort of social event!

Jessica has lived in Statesboro, GA most of her life, but has been living in Raleigh since August of 2021. She married her husband, Dawson, in December of 2021 and they are enjoying their time as newlyweds with their golden retriever puppy, Brinkley. Jessica is a Disney, soda, and pizza fanatic who loves trying new restaurants. She loves watching movies/shows or going on walks/hikes but is willing to try any new activity if it means hanging out with friends and family.
Originally from Massachusetts, Cooper completed a BA in Accounting at Gordon College near Boston, MA. After graduating, he spent a few years in Austin, Texas working for YETI as a Staff Accountant before moving to Wake Forest to attend Southeastern. Cooper is pursuing his MA in Marriage, Family & Individual Counseling with a goal of assisting the community and the local church to apply the hope of the Gospel to all areas of life. Cooper enjoys running, cycling, playing guitar & coffee.
Alumni Relations Specialist
Tanner is originally from West Virginia, where he attended Marshall University and received his BA in Political Science. Marshall is also where he met his wife, Delaney. They moved to Wake Forest, NC after their wedding for Tanner to begin his M.Div at SEBTS. Tanner is very close with his family and loves spending time around his friends. He has cheered for Virginia Tech football since before he could talk, and his love for the Hokies has become one of his biggest personality traits. In his free time, Tanner enjoys reading a book, playing Disc Golf, making music, and eating ice cream.
Sofia has worked for SEBTS in various capacities since 2018. She and her husband have been married since May of 2021 and met while serving with a ministry organization in Reynosa, Mexico. She is a lover of the little things and a self-proclaimed “Everyday Adventurer”. She strives to see the beauty in the day-to-day of life. From breakfast pizza and late night coffee to kitchen floor conferences and last minute DIY, she is always up for doing whatever the moment calls for.

Born and raised in Houston, TX, David attended Texas A&M University and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2016. He then worked as a Case Manager for people living with HIV for five years before moving to Wake Forest in 2021 with his wife, Sarah, to pursue theological education. David is pursuing an MA in Christian Marriage, Family and Individual Counseling in hopes of becoming a licensed counselor. David loves spending time with Sarah, doing anything outside (hiking, running, disc golf, spikeball, etc.), being with friends, and trying new foods.

Jonathan is from Salem, VA and has been married to his wife Katherine for 18 years. They have been blessed with seven children. Jonathan graduated with his MDIV and DMIN from Southeastern. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of a church in Johnston County. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, reading, hanging out on their hobby farm, and a good cup of coffee.

Dave has been working in the Student Resources and Financial Aid office since 2019 and became the Director of the office in December 2021. He also teaches as an adjunct professor at the College at Southeastern. He and his wife Julie have been married for 17 years and their daughter, Annabelle, is 11. Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, Dave has lived in Wake Forest since 2013 and graduated from Southeastern with a PhD in Biblical Studies. Dave is a nerd and loves fantasy and science-fiction (especially Star Wars), playing basketball, smoking meat, and he will gladly sit down to talk about the book of Revelation.
Associate Director of Student Resources and Financial Aid
Chris Biggers serves Southeastern as the Associate Director in the Financial Aid and Student Resources office. He and his wife Jacqulyn have 8 kids and have enjoyed settling into the Durham area after transitioning from DC. Chris is pursuing his MA in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling here at SEBTS. Prior to joining us at SEBTS Chris worked in marketing in the corporate world and served as a Special Agent in the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Chris embodies Southeastern’s core value of being lighthearted so don’t hesitate to stop by for a visit. Just be sure to bring oatmeal cream pies.
Government Financial Aid Coordinator
Skyler serves the Southeastern community as the Government Financial Aid Coordinator. In January 2022, she married Nick Nail, who serves Southeastern as the Chapel Coordinator, in the beautiful Savannah Georgia. Pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry, Skyler desires to come alongside women to evangelize, equip and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.
Institutional Financial Aid Coordinator
Born and raised in Alachua, Florida, Alex now serves the Southeastern Community as the Institutional Financial Aid Coordinator. Alex is in the Timothy Scholars program pursuing his BA and MDiv in Pastoral Ministry with the goal to use this training to disciple younger generations and support local pastors. Alex is most at home reading a good book on the beach and is always looking for new book recommendations.

Robert serves as the Financial Aid Assistant for Military Affairs. He is from Enterprise, AL and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama. He and his lovely wife Rachel moved to Wake Forest in January of 2023, and are members of Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville. Robert is pursuing a MDiv in Christian Ministry, with the desire to one day serve the Lord as a chaplain in the Air Force. Robert previously served in the Alabama Air National Guard, and is currently a Chaplain Candidate in the Air Force Reserves. He enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with Rachel.

Nathan serves the Southeastern Community as the Government Financial Aid Assistant. Originally from Gastonia, North Carolina, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies at Anderson University before moving to Wake Forest in August of 2023. Nathan is pursuing an Advanced MDiv in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry, with the desire to faithfully serve the Church by equipping others to use their time and talents for God’s kingdom where they live, work, and play. In his free time, Nathan enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, reading, and going on adventures with friends. He loves getting to know new people, being outdoors, and trying out new things.

The Registrar's office at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary exists to serve students with registration for classes, academic progress, transcript evaluations, and graduation. From students’ admittance into the College or the Seminary, until their final semester and graduation day, the Registrar’s office is ready and happy to help students as they work towards completing their degree and all its requirements.
Jenna moved from New Hampshire to North Carolina in 2016 to pursue her undergraduate in Global Studies at the College at Southeastern. She and her husband, Chad, live in Wake Forest and are part of the Oak Grove Baptist Church family. Jenna is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and hopes to one day go overseas and minister in an underserved region. She and her husband both enjoy reading, music, and game nights and are beginner backpackers.
Originally from Louisiana, he moved to Wake Forest/SEBTS in 2015. He has completed his MA in Biblical & Theological Studies here at SEBTS and is currently pursuing his PhD in Theological Studies, while his wife, Kathrynn, is pursuing her JD at Campbell Law School. He desires to change the world by playing his part in the second greatest commission of 2 Cor 5:18-19. Will and Kathrynn are members of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh and love cooking, traveling, and spending time with their church small group.
Jon serves in the Registrar’s Office as the Records and Reporting Coordinator. Jon and his wife, Ashely, have one daughter, Mackenzie, and are both from the Wake Forest area. Jon has a BA in Criminal Justice and an MA in Public Policy from Liberty University. Before attending Southeastern, Jon served in the Army, law enforcement, and the corporate world. Jon is working towards his Master of Divinity at SEBTS. Jon’s life verse is 1 Pet. 2:4-5, and he desires all believers to see their context as the mission field regardless of vocation. Jon and his family are active in their church and enjoy spending time with other families in their small group. When not keeping up with his daughter Jon’s hobbies include reading, disc golf, and kayaking.
Kevin serves in the Registrar’s Office as the Transcript Specialist. He grew up in Midland, Texas, did his Undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University, and moved to Wake Forest to become an MDiv student here at SEBTS in 2021. He and his wife, Amanda, are members at Christ Covenant Church in Raleigh and serve in various capacities. In their free time, the Giffins love to spend time with friends, play board games, and eat good food. Long term, he desires to serve in pastoral ministry wherever the Lord calls them.
Chase serves in the Registrar’s Office as the Service Specialist. He has been living in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area for most of his life, aside from a few years spent in Wilmington, NC earning an undergraduate degree in Marketing at UNCW. Chase is married to his wife, Jordan, and they have one son named Cooper. Near the end of college, Chase was challenged to study the book of James, where he encountered the reality of James 1:22. The Spirit used this passage to show his personal need for a Savior in Jesus, transforming his life. Since then he has been serving at Richland Creek Community Church in various facets along with Jordan. Chase is currently pursuing an MDiv in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry. The Harrison family loves to huddle in at home and read books, watch movies, and play with their dog named Obi.

Student Success Coordinator
Chris serves Southeastern Seminary and The College at Southeastern by leading institutional discussions and strategies for retention and student success. Originally from north Georgia, Chris graduated from Truett-McConnell University (Cleveland, GA) with a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies before heading out to Southwestern Seminary (Fort Worth, TX) where he completed an MA in Apologetics, an MA in Philosophy, and a ThM in Ethical and Philosophical Studies. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Philosophy of Religion at Southeastern. Chris is passionate about higher education and helping student succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Academic Advisor and Coach
Sarah started at Southeastern in January 2022 after working in ministry for a couple of years at her church in Georgia. While at the University of Georgia (go dawgs!), Sarah served in various ministry roles in the church and in para-church ministries that confirmed her desire to counsel others. She’s currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling with hopes to be used by God as an extension of his mercy and compassion to those who are hurting. Sarah is passionate about helping others and is excited to partner with you on your academic journey!

Once he finishes his degree, he desires to serve the saints in whatever capacity the Lord may lead him. Josh is an active member at Faith Youngsville Baptist Church, where he enjoys serving the body in musical worship. He enjoys golf, a good book, and any outdoor activity. Facilities management helps Southeastern steward what we have been blessed with institutionally by use of various trades. If our emergencies number is contacted for non emergency situations they will not respond to your requests. All non-emergency requests are then regular repairs and maintenance needs.
Regular Repairs and Maintenance
The Department of Campus Security exists to maintain a safe and secure campus environment and to protect the institution’s assets in order to facilitate Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary's mission. To meet this mission, we employ Security Officers to monitor our campus 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year, including nights, weekends and holidays. Campus Security also works closely with the Wake Forest Police Department, the Wake Forest Fire Department and Wake County EMS to ensure fast responses to any needs or emergencies that might arise on Southeastern's campus.
Student Life is devoted to comprehensive activities and programs which provide opportunities for all members of the SEBTS family. Specific activities are designed to promote physical health, social development, and personal growth, as well as fun, community, and fellowship. Announcements of specific events and programs are communicated through various campus social media outlets.
Women Around Southeastern
The mission of Women Around Southeastern is to cultivate teachable, theological, and missional women who are empowered to seek out and accomplish God’s calling on their lives, to faithfully make disciples, and to fulfill the Great Commission. Women Around Southeastern hosts numerous events each semester to promote edifying community among the women who work, study, and live at Southeastern. Erin is the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students to Women and the Director of Graduate Life. She moved from Lincolnton, NC in 2018 to pursue her undergraduate in Christian Counseling at the College at Southeastern. Erin is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Education. She is passionate about discipleship and seeing sisters in Christ grow in their love and understanding of the Lord. She loves the community of women on Southeastern’s campus! In her free time, Erin enjoys reading, serving the Middle School girls at Imago Dei Church, spending time with friends, and cooking new dishes.
Meimei Liu serves as the Creative Assistant for Women Around Southeastern at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in NC. Meimei is an undergraduate student studying Humanities in the College at Southeastern. As an international student from China, she is passionate about serving international people groups and teaching English as Second Language to refugees. Meimei is devoted to serving the women around Southeastern and growing spiritually in this community. Meimei loves hanging out with her friends and cooking during her free time. She also loves to explore new cultures and travel as much as she can.
