Southeastern offers an on-campus Health Center directed by a physician for students, faculty and staff as well as their families. The Health Center also offers massage therapy and chiropractic services. The Health Center is located on Rock Springs Road across from Wake Forest High School.
The Department of Campus Security exists to maintain a safe and secure campus environment and to protect the institution’s assets in order to facilitate Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary’s mission. To meet this mission, we employ Security Officers to monitor our campus 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year, including nights, weekends and holidays. Campus Security also works closely with the Wake Forest Police Department, the Wake Forest Fire Department and Wake County EMS to ensure fast responses to any needs or emergencies that might arise on Southeastern’s campus.
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and The College at Southeastern are committed to the admission of all qualified students without regard to disability. We are further committed to providing resources to make the academic programs and support services accessible to all students. SEBTS abides by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and provides services and accommodations to students with disabilities, as the seminary is able. We strive to provide reasonable accommodations to help facilitate academic success. Students with appropriately documented physical or learning disabilities may be eligible to receive assistance and support from the Dean of Students, Associate Vice President of Student Life, and the Assistant Dean of Students Offices. Services are available for students with documented disabilities and are determined on a case-by-case basis according to individual needs. All other questions can be answered in the “Disability Resources” portion of the Student Handbook.
Student Complaint & Grievances Process
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and The College at Southeastern (SEBTS) equip students to serve the Church and to fulfill the Great Commission. Essential to accomplishing its mission is the fair application of its policies and a campus culture that is transparent and promotes personal formation and positive interpersonal relationships. To this end, SEBTS provides a mechanism for students to raise concerns and grievances.
