The specialization aims to equip students with the skills to prepare and deliver effective and compelling expository sermons. Skills will be developed for hermeneutical treatment of a biblical passage, treatment of the various genres of the Bible, particularly with Christ-centered perspective, and the delivery of sermons with clarity, power, biblical purity, and relevance. Attention will be given to preaching style with critiques to help in developing an effective style. Students will be led to a better understanding of the relationship between the preacher as person and professional and the theological importance of expository preaching.
