Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) is thrilled to host The 2013 North Carolina Christian School Association (NCCSA) All-State Music Clinic. The students will rehearse starting on Nov. 14 for their grand performances on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2:30 p.m. in Binkley Chapel on the SEBTS campus.

Joshua Waggener, instructor of music at SEBTS, shared his excitement about the upcoming event. “We welcome the NCCSA Music Clinic to Southeastern,” said Waggener. “Before coming on staff at Southeastern, I took my own band students to the NCCSA All-State Music Clinic. Now, as a professor at Southeastern, I am excited to help host the event.”

Instrumentalists auditioned to be placed in one of three bands: Concert Band, Symphonic Band or Honors Band.

“Our desire is to assist Christian schools as they equip students with musical skills to serve churches across North Carolina and beyond,” said Waggener.

The doors will open at 12:00 p.m. on Nov. 16, and tickets can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis in the lobby of Binkley Chapel. Tickets will be $5 for students and senior citizens, $7 for adults and $20 for families of four or more.
