Featured Resource: Dwayne Milioni Urges an Every Member Church Planting Strategy

Being a healthy Great Commission church means not only making disciples who make disciples but also reproducing churches that reproduce churches. For Dwayne Milioni, associate professor of preaching and director of the preaching PhD program at Southeastern Seminary, being a reproducing church is a function of the whole church working together to prepare, send, and engage planters and their families.

In his recent article for 9Marks, Milioni, reminds churches and church leaders that church planting begins with a DNA shift, allowing missions and multiplication to root deeply in the culture of the church through its preaching, prayers, fellowship, and everyday ministries. Then, as members are sent out, the whole church labors together in strengthening, equipping, and supporting their sent ones as they go. As members are sent and churches are planted, the every member investment continues through ongoing relationships that engage planters and their families.
