Accreditation Information

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary is a Private Not-for-Profit institution accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Commission on Accrediting of The Association of Theological Schools. In 2012, degree program(s) of study offered by Southeastern were reaffirmed by both accreditors.

Because Southeastern is an institution of religious education, Southeastern has been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes (G.S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education.
