Dwayne Milioni
Coordinator of the Preaching PhD Program
Biography
Dwayne Milioni is an associate professor of preaching and coordinator for the PhD Preaching program at Southeastern Seminary. He has served on the faculty since 1997. His academic work focuses on homiletics, along with pastoral ministry, counseling, and church-planting missions. He is the author of numerous articles and books, as well as the general editor of the “CSB Jesus Daily Bible.” His recent publications include “A Legacy of Preaching” (2 vols), “A New Baptist Catechism,” “40 Questions on Biblical Preaching” (forthcoming), “Live Exposition of the Scripture” (forthcoming), and “Churches Planting Churches.”
Dwayne has served as lead pastor of Open Door Church in Raleigh, NC, since 1999. Open Door Church has planted more than 20 local churches nationally and sent over 100 missionaries internationally. He is the co-founder and board chairman of The Pillar Church Planting Network, which serves over 700 like-minded Baptist churches globally.
Dwayne has been married to Kay since 1989 and has four married children and a growing number of grandchildren. His great delight is to serve the local church to fulfill the Great Commission.
