Admissions & Aid

Becoming a student

We strive to make the application process as clear and simple as possible, and our Admissions Office is ready to answer questions and offer whatever help we can.

Due to COVID-19, Preview Days on campus were not possible. Instead, we hope you will join us for our Summer Preview Series.
At the bottom of this page you'll also find an option to take a virtual tour of our campus. We hope you'll take advantage of this as you make plans to join us in Wake Forest, NC as you prepare to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission.

Get to know more about Southeastern and the degree programs we offer by exploring the FAQs below. To see additional frequently asked questions, visit our FAQs page.

Southeastern offers a variety of graduate and post-graduate programs including: MDiv, MA, ThM, EdD, DMin and PhD degree programs. To find the degree that best fits you, use our degree filter.

The average graduate degree (M.Div. or MA) at the seminary will take a full-time student 2-4 years. This depends on the specific degree requirements and the student’s desired course load. In addition to traditional semester-long courses, students may take advantage of hybrid classes, January-term classes, four separate summer sessions and one-week intensive classes taught over fall and spring breaks.

The actual cost of seminary varies based on how many courses are required by your chosen degree track and how many courses you take per semester. Visit our Tuition and Fees page for a list of current costs.
