The Major in Worship Ministry allows the student to study biblical and theological foundations of Christian worship and build skills in music and leadership for worship ministry in the local church. There are no additional admission requirements for the Major in Worship Ministry, although entering students will be evaluated for music reading and performance skills for appropriate placement in music courses. Students in this program will come away with the training they need to effectively lead congregations in musical worship for the glory of God.

Additional Information

All general admissions requirements for the Seminary must be met. An undergraduate music degree is not required, though a certain proficiency in music is required to complete the degree. The student’s proficiency in music will be evaluated by the faculty for the purpose of recommending an individualized program of study.

  • We want our worship studies students to lead Christ-exalting, mission-focused worship gatherings that inspire all disciples of Jesus to continue in a posture of worship as we pursue the Great Commission together.
