Our Speakers
Scott Pace
President-Elect, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
Dr. Pace serves as the President-Elect of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is also a professor of preaching and pastoral ministry. He has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years in a variety of full-time and interim capacities in three states. He speaks regularly at conferences and training events that seek to equip pastors and church leaders. He is the author of numerous books, including “Pastoral Theology,” coauthored with Dr. Danny Akin, “Calling out the Called,” coauthored with Shane Pruitt, and “Answering God’s Call.” Prior to his vocational calling, Scott served in the corporate world as an accountant and the private sector as a business manager. He and his wife, Dana, have been married since 1999 and have four children.
Shane Pruitt
National Next Gen Director, North American Mission Board
Shane Pruitt serves as the national next gen director for the North American Mission Board (NAMB). He has been in ministry for more than 20 years as a denominational leader, church planter, lead pastor, and student pastor. Shane is also a traveling communicator, evangelist, and Bible teacher. Every year, he speaks to more than one hundred thousand people about the good news of Jesus Christ. He is the author of two books: “9 Common Lies Christians Believe: And Why God’s Truth Is Infinitely Better” and “Calling Out the Called: Discipling Those Called to Ministry Leadership,” coauthored with Dr. Scott Pace. He is also one of the hosts of “The GenSend Podcast.” He and his wife, Kasi, reside in Texas with their five children.
Brent Crowe
President, Student Leadership University
Dr. Brent Crowe serves as the president of Student Leadership University in Orlando, Florida, a program that has trained students for almost 30 years to commit themselves to excellence. Engaging issues such as leadership, culture, and change, Brent has influenced people from all walks of life throughout his more than 20 years of ministry, speaking to hundreds of thousands across the nation and abroad each year. He is the author of several books, including “Sacred Intent: Maximize the Moments of Your Life” and “Chasing Elephants: Wrestling with the Gray Areas of Life.” He is married to Christina and has six children: Gabe, Charis, Za’Riah, Mercy, Zi’Yon and Aryanna.
