Brent J. Aucoin
Associate Dean of Judson College for Academic Affairs
Biography
Dr. Aucoin has been teaching at Southeastern since 2004, and also serves as Associate Dean of Judson College for Academic Affairs. He is particularly interested in post-Civil War Southern history, race relations and American religious history. He is married to his wife, Amanda, who is also a professor at the college, and they have four sons. He is the author, most recently, of Thomas Goode Jones: Race, Politics and Justice in the New South (University of Alabama Press, 2016)
