Biography

Dr. Ricardo Sánchez Estévez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to North Carolina over a decade ago. He has spent more than twenty years equipping pastors, teachers, ministry leaders, and lay leaders across the United States and Latin America through conferences and workshops, translation and livestreaming of ministry events, and consultation on the effective use of technology in ministry. Alongside his ministry, he spent more than fifteen years leading the consultation, design, and execution of multidisciplinary collaboration platforms and infrastructure projects with international teams in the education, telecom, corporate, and health industries. He directs the Office of Hispanic Leadership Development at Southeastern and serves as GTI Professor of Hispanic Studies, teaching in the areas of Christian education, business, cross-cultural leadership and discipleship strategies, and applied ministry. He holds an Ed.D. from Southeastern and an M.P.M. from the Université du Québec. He also serves as director of the Hispanic Ministry at Richland Creek Community Church. He and his wife, Evelyn, have three children and two grandsons.
