Jeff Struecker

Assistant Professor of Christian Leadership

Biography

Dr. Struecker served as a chaplain in many Airborne and Ranger units before retiring from the US Army in 2011. He was inducted into the US Army Ranger Hall of Fame in 2017. He has been deployed to combat in Panama, Kuwait, Somalia, and many tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.  He holds many decorations and recognitions for his military service, including the Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device for valor.  He has attended many professional military schools and has received many badges to recognize his specialized military training as an Infantryman, a Paratrooper, a Ranger and a Chaplain.

Dr. Struecker has served churches in many different positions.  He has previously served as youth pastor and associate pastor. Dr. Struecker is married to his high school sweetheart, Dawn. They have five children and one grandchild.  He has numerous honorary and earned degrees
