What is a Qualified Charitable Distribution?

A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a non-taxed distribution of funds up to $100,000 annually from your IRA to Southeastern. You are eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution as soon as you reach 70.5 years of age. Many people choose to make Qualified Charitable Distributions part of their strategy for reaching their annual Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) beginning at 73 years of age.
