Mercy Scholarship for MDiv Students
The Mercy Scholarship provides tuition funding for Southeastern students enrolled in the Master of Divinity in the following specializations: Preaching and Pastoral Ministry, International Church Planting, Missiology, North American Church Planting, Pastoral Ministry with Biblical Counseling, Christian Ministry, Church Revitalization, and the Advanced MDiv. International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities Scholarship
The International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities (IABCU) Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship for full-time faculty and administrators at IABCU member schools. The scholarship also applies to their dependent children under the age of 30. Please see the link below to determine whether you or your dependent child is eligible.
Additionally, students must meet the following criteria to receive this scholarship:
– Be a member of an SBC church
– Enroll as a degree-seeking student in a graduate (MA/MDIV only) or Undergraduate Degree Program
– Maintain at least a 2.5 Cumulative GPA
– Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for graduate Students or 9 credit hours for Undergraduate students
– Submit the IABCU application each semester
Southeastern Women’s Fellowship Scholarship
This scholarship is for women who are being trained for service in God’s kingdom, and it is determined by committee based on the combination of academic diligence and church involvement with a proven commitment to Christian service.
Additionally, students must meet the following criteria to receive this scholarship:
– Minimum of two full-time semesters completed at Southeastern at the time of application
– Minimum GPA of 3.0
– Enrolled for a full-time course load (9 hours for graduate students; 3 hours for advanced degree students)

Missions Scholarships
Students with experience serving the Southern Baptist’s International Mission Board or North American Mission Board may be eligible for unique Mission Scholarships. All Mission Scholarships are subject to Southeastern’s Institutional Eligibility requirements and Satisfactory Academic Progress standards. Make sure you review both to know what is expected to remain eligible. Students must re-apply for each academic year.
Cooperating Institution Scholarships
The SBC Seminary and Agency Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship for students who are full-time executive, faculty, or managerial staff of SBC seminaries and Agencies. The scholarship also applies to their dependent children under the age of 30.

- Gateway Seminary
- New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
- Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
- Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
- The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
- B&H Publishing
- Lifeway
- The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission
- The International Mission Board
- The North American Mission Board
Additionally, students must meet the following criteria to receive this scholarship:
- Be enrolled as a degree-seeking student
- Maintain at least a 2.0 Cumulative GPA
- Submit the Cooperating Institution application each semester
Although Southeastern awards significant scholarships amounts every semester, scholarships are limited. Not all who qualify for scholarships receive them.
