Chapel & Events

Chapel services at Southeastern are a central part of our campus life. Congregational worship is led by worship leaders from local churches in the RDU area. Scripture reading is done by our faculty and staff. We are encouraged and instructed on how to pray for and engage the lost both locally and globally by the Center for Great Commission Studies. Expository preachers bless with the proclamation of the timeless truths of God's Word.

Chapel at Southeastern provides students, faculty, and staff a spiritual refuge where they focus on their personal relationship with Christ – the foundation for ministry.

Chapel will be held inside Binkley chapel throughout the fall Semester from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Southeastern sells its chapel messages in either audio CD ($2) or video DVD ($5) format. To order, e-mail our Media Services office.

Annie Armstrong Collection

The Annie Armstrong offering was started in 1895 by Woman’s Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU’s first national executive leader. Every gift to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering – 100 percent – goes to train, resource and send thousands of missionaries involved in church planting and compassion ministries across the United States, Canada and their territories. Will you join in giving?
