Southeastern Seminary Partners with Logos to Offer New Go Certificate Course

Southeastern Seminary is excited to announce a new Go Certificate course, New Testament Greek for Ministry, offered in partnership with Logos Bible Software. As a standalone course, New Testament Greek for Ministry is designed to equip students with the necessary tools to approach commentaries and other Bible reference resources with greater familiarity and confidence.
In this course, Chuck Quarles, research professor of New Testament and biblical theology at Southeastern, introduces foundational principles of New Testament Greek and helps students to utilize the tools and resources available to them through Logos Bible Software.
Core objectives of the course include equipping students to:
- Understand the importance of a basic knowledge of New Testament Greek for interpretation
- Identify the elements of a passage that the interpreter should study more carefully
- Understand several of the most significant elements of Greek grammar affecting translation and interpretation
- Avoid common mistakes in defining Greek words
- Understand the textual notes in modern translations
- Navigate several of the most helpful resources for New Testament interpretation in the Logos Academic Basic package

Through this partnership with Logos, course participants gain access to an academic discount for the recommended Logos materials. While not required to complete the course, the materials can act as a helpful supplement and resource for participants.
