Charles B. Keesee Educational Fund

Description: The Charles B. Keesee Educational Fund provides assistance to Baptist students who are preparing to enter Baptist ministry or religious work in the Baptist denomination. Scholarships are available to students who were residents of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee at least one year prior to initial attendance.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be master’s level students and must attend one course on the main campus.
    • Keesee will accept all M.Div. programs and the following Master of Arts programs: Intercultural Studies, Church Planting, Christian Education with Biblical Counseling, Christian Ministry, Worship Leadership, Student Ministry, Biblical Counseling, Church Realization and Christian Education
  • Part-time students can apply with the possibility of receiving awards of reduced amounts

Deadline: The deadline for this scholarship is typically in April for the upcoming academic year. October for spring semester only.

DMIN Students are now eligible for funding.
  • Deadline dates for submitting an application are typically in May for the full academic year and November for the spring semester only.
  • Grades must be submitted with the application if you are already in the DMIN program.
  • Students must reapply each year in order to continue to receive the grant.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee approval of a grant.
